CLOCKWORK FAQ

Q. How long do you typically play for?
A. Our standard time frame is four hours, but additional time can be arranged depending on the date, time and location of your party.
Q. How many breaks do you take?
A. We take two breaks during a four hour party. We provide music though out this time. We play our dinner set until the entrees have been served. We start our first dance set at about the time the tables are being cleared from dinner. During our breaks we play CD's or you can provide us a CD of your favorites to play.
Q. How can we be sure that the "Clockwork Band" won't be too loud?
A. The "Clockwork Band" has a sound technician and throughout the evening he is monitoring sound quality and volume. During dinner we play a mix of standards, easy listening and soft rock at a volume that allows your guests to carry on a conversation. After dinner we "turn it up" to get the crowd dancing. Older guests are often very sensitive to sound, even at low volumes. When creating your seating plan for the reception, be sure to seat the older guests away from the band.
Q. How much does the "Clockwork Band" charge?
A. Our pricing depends on where and when you are having your party. For pricing information, see our Prices page. For your specific event, contact us with the date, hours and location of your party. Be sure to leave a phone number with the best time to reach you. Also, be sure to tell us how you heard about the "Clockwork Band".
Q. Do I need to meet with anyone?
A. The event planning can be done over the telephone and via mail, fax and e-mail. Send us your itinerary, and any other special requests or dedications.
Q. How will you handle the flow of events, the introduction of the bridal party and the special dances?
A. The "Clockwork Band" is experienced at working with wedding coordinators, banquet managers and caterers. The "Clockwork Band" will coordinate a format that will ensure that the event will run smoothly.
Q. If I decide that I am interested in having the "Clockwork Band" as my band, what happens next?
A. We send you our contract that clearly spells out the terms and conditions. Your deposit, is due along with the signed contract.
